THREE WAYS TO MAKE S'MORES (below) – Campfire, Oven, and Microwave!

How To Make S'Mores (Campfire)

  1. Make sure there is an adult around to help when doing anything around a fire!

  2. Break a graham cracker in half and set the two pieces on a plate.

  3. Place a chocolate bar (flat square) on top of one of the graham cracker halves.

  4. Roast your marshmallow (on a roasting stick over the fire) how you like it (lightly toasted to blackened or anywhere in between)

  5. Place your roasted marshmallow on top of the chocolate bar.

  6. Use the empty graham cracker on top to press down and hold your marshmallow while you pull out the roasting stick.

  7. Be careful. It's hot!

How To Make S'Mores (Oven)

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Make sure there is an adult around to help when using the oven!

  2. Break graham crackers in half and set the first halves for each one you are baking on an ungreased cookie sheet.

  3. Place a chocolate bar (flat square) on top of each of the graham cracker halves.

  4. Cut the large marshmallow in half and set each half on top of the chocolate bars so they lay flat.

  5. Save the graham cracker top halves off to the side until after the S'mores have baked.

  6. Bake the S'mores (without the tops) in the oven for 3 to 5 minutes (until marshmallows puff up and start to turn brown).

  7. Use an oven mitt to safely remove the cookie sheet from the oven. Be careful. It's hot!

  8. Immediately place the graham cracker tops on the S'mores and press down lightly.

  9. Use a spatula to remove the S'mores from the cookie sheet and serve on a plate. Enjoy!

How To Make S'Mores (Microwave)

  1. Make sure there is an adult around to help when using the microwave!

  2. Break graham crackers in half and set the first halves for each one you are baking on a microwave-safe plate.

  3. Place a chocolate bar (flat square) on top of each of the graham cracker halves.

  4. Place the marshmallow on top of the chocolate bar.

  5. Save the graham cracker top halves off to the side until after the S'mores have been cooked.

  6. Put the S'mores (without the tops) in the microwave for 15 seconds (do not microwave longer or they could explode).

  7. If you want the marshmallow cooked more, give it another 15 seconds. (it will puff up pretty big in the microwave)

  8. Take out of the microwave and immediately place the graham cracker tops on the S'mores and press down lightly.

  9. Place the S'mores on a serving plate. Be careful, they might be hot!
