CHINESE NOODLE SOUP

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Water

  • Soy Sauce

  • Sugar

  • Spaghetti Noodles

  • Carrot

  • Celery

  • Salt & Pepper

How To Make It

With the help of an adult and in a large pot, bring 8 cups of water + 4 Tbsp soy sauce + 2 tsp sugar to a boil.

Note: When the broth begins to boil, turn down the heat enough that it continues to boil but does not boil over.

​

While waiting for the broth to boil, prepare the carrots and celery. Slice 1 large carrot and 1 piece of celery into thin pieces. Make sure to you have help from an adult when using a knife to food. Add them to broth once sliced.

​

Next, add about 4 ounces of spaghetti noodles (broken in half) into the pot.

​

The soup is ready once the noodles are soft / done (about 15 minutes). 

​

Add salt and pepper and serve!

​

Note: You might want to let the soup cool for a few minutes so that you do not burn your mouth.

​
