Flower Planting Instructions
WHEN TO PLANT FLOWERS:
The best time to plant flowers is in the early spring when there is no more frost on the ground and before it gets too hot.

WHERE TO PLANT FLOWERS:
You can plant flowers in your garden, yard, or in a flower pot. Make sure you position your flowers to grow where they can get a lot of sunlight.

HOW TO PREPARE THE SOIL:
If using a flower pot, place loose dirt into the pot. If planting outside in the ground, first pull out and remove any weeds near the area. Then use a digging fork or similar tool to mix and turn the top several inches of soil so that the dirt is nice and loose. The exact depth may depend on the flower. See the instructions on your flower seeds package. Look for "Thinning Height".

HOW TO PLANT FLOWER SEEDS:
Using your finger, dig a hole deep enough for your seed. Most seeds do not need to be planted very deep (less than an inch). See the instructions on your flower seeds package. Look for "Planting Depth". Remember to replace the soil on top of your seed.

PLANTING MULTIPLE FLOWERS:
If you are planting multiple flowers make sure to space the seeds out. See the instructions on your flower seeds package. Look for the recommended "Spacing" distance.

HOW TO GROW YOUR FLOWERS:
Flowers need water and sunlight to grow! After planting your seeds, make sure to water the soil. Be careful not to over water your flowers! Sometimes the rain is enough to keep your flowers watered, but on a dry day it helps to feed your flowers a little a water.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THE FLOWERS TO GROW?
You should see your flowers begin to sprout within a handful of days. See the instructions on your flower seeds package. Look for "Days to Germination" for a better idea on how long until you can expect to see it sprouting. Many flowers will bloom in 1 to 2 months! Look for "Days to Bloom" on your flower seeds package. If the "Days to Bloom" is listed (sometimes it is not) it could be on the front or back of the package.

DON'T FORGET TO CLEAN UP!
Make sure to clean your hands by washing off the dirt, and put away any tools you used.
