BUC

Meet Buccaneer, the bear of Bunaboom Zoo. His friends call him Buc, so you can too. He has a wild imagination and he loves to pretend he is captain of a boat off to a far away land.

Bugs, berries, and roots are good, but Buc's favorite dish is a belly full of honey and a tummy full of fish.

Forest regions up north is where most bears are found. They hibernate in winter until spring comes around. If you would like to know more, then you are in luck. You will learn about bears in letters from Buc.

BANJO

Meet Banjo, the moose at Bunaboom Zoo. Leaves, branches, and bark are his favorite food. Females don't have antlers, but a male's antlers are large. And they will headbutt each other to see who is in charge.

He lives in the woods, and likes colder weather. His fur is thick - it's like wearing a sweater. If a moose is an animal you think will excite you, Banjo is your boy, and he is ready to write you.

HOLLYWOOD

Meet Hollywood, the wolf of Bunaboom Zoo. He travels in packs, and howls at the moon. He is a puppy with sharp teeth and sharp claws. You probably know wolves are related to dogs.

Wolves can be found in forests up north. There are many in Asia, and in Canada of course. You know what to do if you want to learn more. Read Hollywood's letters, that is what they are for.

BIRCH

Meet Birch, the beaver of Bunaboom Zoo, where carving artwork in wood is what he loves to do. Birch lives in a house he built by the river. Like other beavers he is a very good swimmer.

Beavers are the largest rodents in North America, second in the world behind the capybara. Find out more, if ready and eager, in a letter to you sent from a beaver.

PRISTINE

Meet Pristine, the otter of Bunaboom Zoo. Otters love to play, believe me, it's true. She glides when she slides down a hill with a laugh, then lands in the water with a great big splash. That is a normal day in the life of an otter. Aquatic animals like Pristine spend a lot of time in the water.

River otters are common throughout most of North America. In fact, otters are on every continent, but Antarctica and Australia. If you would like to know more, Pristine will send letters right to your door.

MOJO & MOXI

Meet Mojo and Moxi, twin foxes of Bunaboom Zoo. Fly and handsome is Mojo, Moxi is sly and cute. They live in the woods and love to go hunting. These creatures are cunning, and always want something.

Foxes can be found all over and for what it is worth, red foxes are the most wide-spread meat-eating mammals on earth. If you like stories that are wild and fun, then Mojo and Moxi will be fun to hear from.
