BLINK

Meet Blink, the shy ostrich of Bunaboom Zoo. At least until she gets to know you. Her legs are long and strong, and she kicks with great power. And, she can run up to 40 miles per hour.

Ostriches are the tallest and heaviest bird. They travel in small packs known as a herd. Africa is the place where ostriches are found. To learn more just ask Blink to write it all down.

RUCKUS

Meet Ruckus, the golden eagle of Bunaboom Zoo. He is ready to rumble, sometimes causing trouble, but will always be loyal to you.

Eagles eat birds, mammals and fish - each being Ruckus's favorite dish. The golden eagle has even been known to eat deer, and that alone is something to fear.

Eagles can be found in several places. High in a nest is the safest of spaces. His nest is where Ruckus writes the letters he sends to each and every one of his Zoo Ranger friends.

SCOOP

Meet Scoop, a vampire bat in Bunaboom Zoo. It is true bats are blind, but he still finds his own food. Scoop stays awake all night long doing all kinds of things, then sleeps upside down in a cave or in trees.

Central and South America is where you will find the most bats, and if you want to know more, you just have to ask.

LINGO

Meet Lingo, the flamingo of Bunaboom Zoo. Reading and writing is what he loves to do. Shrimp, snails and algae are what he loves to eat, scooped up like a shovel with his large curvy beak.

You will find these birds of a pink feather on the coast of countries with hot tropical weather. If you like flamingos and want to learn more, Lingo will write you a letter, and rhyme it for sure.

DITTO

Meet Ditto, the copy cat parrot of Bunaboom Zoo. Say what you will, but she will say it, too.

Macaws, lorikeets, lovebirds, and cockatoos are all types of parrots that live in the zoo. Parrots come in all types and all colors, but no matter their color they all love one another. If there is anything else that you wish to know, you don't have to ask twice, though you might, when asking Ditto.

SAGE

Meet Sage, the wise peacock of Bunaboom Zoo. Sharing wisdom with others is what he loves to do. He says random things now and again, such as, "Did you know a boy is a peacock and a girl is a peahen?" And, when he says that his feathers can grow five feet long, you better believe him, because he is not often wrong.

This type of bird is known as a peafowl - a pheasant from Asia, somewhere down south.  If you want to know more, Sage can tell you a tale. He has been writing some letters, and they are ready to mail.
